NUR 225 Essentials Nursing Practice I
Prerequisites: BIO 101 or BIO 201, PSY 100, CHM 113, and NUR 110 (or waiver) with a grade of C or better. Pre or co-requisite: BIO 102 or BIO 202 (with a grade of C or better)
This course focuses on the safe performance of essential nursing skills required for professional practice. Students will be provided opportunities to develop and demonstrate competencies related to these psychomotor skills in the nursing skills laboratory. This course includes three hours of classroom experience and 3 hours of nursing skills laboratory exposure each week.
