NUR 352 Research in Nursing

Prerequisites: MAT 104, NUR 301 and NUR 351 with C or better.
Corequisites: NUR 350 and NUR 355

This course focuses on critique of nursing research and application of research findings to contemporary practice and education. The course examines steps of the research process, related legal and ethical issues, and strategies for developing an evidence based practice. Students will engage in structured critique of qualitative and quantitative research and use of nursing knowledge as the basis for developing and maintaining an evidence based practice. This course is a two hour didactic class per week. (0.5 Credit)
