NUR 351 Mental Health Nursing
Prerequisites: Admission to the Nursing major
The focus of this course is on nursing care of clients living with psychiatric/mental health needs across the lifespan. Complex communication skills are developed for interacting across the health care continuum with mental health clients. This course includes three hours of didactic/classroom experience each week and 84 hours of clinical experience per term.
