HLT 205 Medical Terminology

HLT 205 is an introductory course in health studies that provides an understanding of anatomical, physiological, and pathological terminology with emphasis on work structures and definition of root words, suffixes, and prefixes from Greek and Latin. Additional emphasis is placed on spelling and pronunciation. This course is primarily designed for individuals preparing for a career in health care. No previous knowledge of Greek or Latin is required. Noncredit for students who completed HLT 286 Medical Terminology
