HHP 250 Aquatics

Prerequisites: Successful completion of the swim requirement for graduation (passed either the swim screen or one HHP 200/209 course)

Provides the student with knowledge and skills to teach swimming basics and water safety to all ages, and provides the opportunity to earn the American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification. This course also provides training in community water safety and basic water rescue skills, as well as introduces water as a fitness and therapeutic medium. Active Learning Experience-Service Learning.
