GST 203 Student-Faculty Partnerships

Prerequisites: Instructor Approval

An introduction to the theory and practice of student-faculty classroom pedagogical partnerships. Students in the program explore teaching and learning through the course, and they conduct weekly formative classroom observations (in response to their partner’s goals in a target course), engaging in deep listening, and providing feedback through an extended semester-long dialogue with an assigned faculty partner. No prerequisites. Sophomore – senior students eligible. Interested students must apply and be accepted before approval of instructor will be granted for registration. Maybe repeated once for credit with permission of instructor.
