PHI 225 Medical Ethics
A survey of some crucial ethical issues as they relate to the fields of medicine and medical research. The topics covered will typically include: major ethical theories which justify various positions in medical ethics; ethical issues surrounding the beginning and end of life (abortion and euthanasia); and issues crucial to the medical professional/patient relationship.
