HHP 110 Sport/Spect Greece/Rome (CLS)
An introduction to sport and spectacle in the classical world with special attention to these topics -- the Olympic Games of ancient Greece and the circuses and arenas of imperial Rome -- that continue to capture the imaginations of modern athletes, entrepreneurs, entertainers, and their audiences.
