GST 110C Integrating Cultures

This ¼ credit course is designed to help international students understand and integrate the cultures of Berea College, the United States, and their emerging third culture. A broad, interdisciplinary approach will be used, drawing from the fields of Cultural Anthropology, Sociology, Communication, English and History. Students will learn that their different cultures can coexist peacefully and equitably and will also develop efficient and effective strategies for success as a multicultural individual both inside and outside of the classroom.
