ENG 200L Studies in Times

These courses focus on the development of a national literature (usually British or American) over a period of at least one hundred years. English majors are required to take one offering of ENG 200E (a survey of a period of American Literature before 1900, or British Literature before 1789) and one offering of ENG 200L (a survey of a period of American Literature after 1900, or British Literature after 1789).
