COM 112 Nonviolent Communication (PSJ)

Many everyday communication practices actually provoke and perpetuate conflict, while nonviolent communication focuses on asserting one’s needs while respecting others, and working collaboratively toward mutually satisfying solutions. In this course students will cultivate communication skills in the classroom and engage in projects where they practice these skills outside of the classroom and coach others in expanding their communication skills.

Noncredit for students who have taken it as COM/PSJ 186
