CHM 451 Inorganic Chemistry
Prerequisite: CHM 311
Basic principles of inorganic chemistry are discussed with special emphasis on: covalent and ionic bonding, acid-based theories, symmetry, chemical applications of point group theory, molecular orbital theory, ligand field theory, and coordination chemistry. There will be three 70-minute lectures each week.
